I have a few words for the Tumblr tag
One, it’s “Grey” folks (in my opinion the better of the two spellings) so if you’re lusting after the man at least get his name right.
Two, I have absolutely no idea why there are girls fangirling over him. I couldn’t be attracted to him at all. He’s no Heathcliff if you’re into the mysterious and brooding types, and if given the choice between an insanely rich and handsome but controlling guy and my normal Asian Brawl-playing boyfriend who lets me do things, I think I’d stick with what I’ve got. Many of his traits could either be sexy or appalling, and for me it’s the latter.
Three, I agree that that Ian guy seems to look the part.
That being said my general view of the book was that it was OK; at times smut for the sake of smut, sometimes intriguing but most of the time you found yourself wanting to skip to the “good parts” because character and plot development were pretty ho-hum.
